KUALA LUMPUR: FA of Malaysia (FAM) deputy president Datuk Yusoff Mahadi has urged teams in the M-League to take a closer look at their weaknesses instead of jumping the gun by claiming that their players are involved in match-fixing.

Yusoff hopes teams will follow procedures and use proper channels when reporting on match-fixing before making media statements.

"Teams should not implicate their players in match-fixing whenever they lose a match.

"Every team have their technical staff to analyse reasons for losing a match,” he was responding to the press statement by Sarawak FA’s (SFA) that claimed that several players were involved in match-fixing following the 3-2 defeat to Felcra last weekend.
