KUALA LUMPUR: Jeremiah Kim wants to enjoy the experience playing against top pros at the CIMB Classic, which starts on Thursday, at the TPC Kuala Lumpur (TPCKL) here.

“It would be great if I can do well but I am not putting myself under any pressure by setting a target.

“I am just going to enjoy every moment of my experience,” said Jeremiah.

The 23-year old qualified on merit for the US$7million (RM29million) tournament after he won the CIMB National Championship two weeks ago.

Jeremiah, who plays on the Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Tour, said playing in the same tournament with CIMB Classic two-time winner Justin Thomas along with Open Championship runner-up Xander Schauffele and 13-time European Tour winner Paul Casey will serve as a learning curve.

“I’m not really wary of anything (for the competition). I’m more excited to play and learn from the PGA Tour players. In my first appearance, I am not really looking forward to seeing anyone in particular,” he said.

Jeremiah said his golf has been consistent after finishing second at the PGM Perlis in January.

“I am eager to play on the newly-upgraded TPCKL. I heard good feedback from friends that have played there.
